different gain in 601
Hi, I just have in my Trex 600 nitro the 601 gyro . I am using the futaba 9c tx. On the main screen it says G 4a 5.7 when on the radio gain I set it up in 37% of gain. What I am doing wrong?

need to goto the gyro sence screen activate it setup switch to switch f so you can setup a normal and heading hold setup.

avcs is heading hold mode
norm is normal mode

turn the percentages up til the 601 reads around 25% to 30% is the most you will need on a trex600n

BarracudaHockey yes I have it on Act. and is set on GYR. I use the flight mode switch to have different gain. I fix one of the problem. The ATV for channel 5 (gyro) was on 37. So I change it to 100% on both side. I check the Gyro screen and now it says 37%, but on the radio on the gyro screen I have it 100% of gain on all 3 flight mode to have the 37% gain on the gyro screen. What I have to do so I can have evenly the radio and the gyro gain?, if I want to raise the gain on the gyro I can't do it because I already have the maximum (100%) on the radio gain. I will have to set the Gyro ATV to 140 to have 47%. Do I have to raise the gyro gain adjustment? I have it on 37%"No crash, No gain"

Set the end points to 100/100 on channel 5

With the switch position in COND then you should be able to set the gain in each flight mode. AVC37 should give you 37 percent gain on the gyro. If you turn it up in the gyro screen the gain on the gyro screen should go up accordingly.

Yes, you have to set the gain in the gyro itself to 100% both AVCS and normal. The gyro atv's should be 100% too, the using the gyro menu in your transmitter should give the same readout on the screen as is shown on the gyro screen (withing 1 percent) In effect you have limited your gyro to 37% by using the adjustment in the gyro itself. This gyro really requires nothing to be changed internally (apart maybe from the limits to stop binding)and it still out-performs most other gyros out there.
