I use it, and just sold an extra one I had. Only a few peoplehere use the mount, but it's quite uncommon compared to other US made designs. However, this mount is the best mount! It's the most precise, well thought out mount I've ever used, including broadcast 360, mark iv, and mini pro1 , and the best I've seen. It's well made, and has the smoothest set of gears, with no blacklash. I use it on a maxi joker 2, and it's great. The downside is that for shooting video, it's difficult to tune the helicopter properly to minimize vibrations, but that is the case for all front mounts. For photography, it is great. I was initially planning on setting up 2 maxis, with the copterfilms mount, but I never have breakdowns, so I only use one. I've got close to 100 flights on it.Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

From their videos samples, videos look very smooth. The main reason that I want this mount is to shoot videos. What is the most smoothest mount for video?

No one can answer that question with any certainty. Victor uses glow engines with his camcopters and I would think that this is one of the reasons he gets such smooth footage. If you use a gasser heli then I would advise against using a front mount due to the higher vibration present in the airframe.

For a front mount, I would go with either electric, glow or turbine as a power source.

Hope this helps,

Paul.
