Is somebody still using a plastic A-Arm on a Pred SE nitro?
My old Pred SE 70 is only missing an A-Arm and the only one I've got is the plastic version.

Will it hold a 70 for hard 3D?

Thanks.

I've heard from other Century Reps. that the plastic ones have been known to break during 3D so I got the metal one to be on the safe side. Although another rep used a plastic a-arm and flew really hard 3d and it held for a while and I haven't heard of him ever breaking it, and this was on a 90.
I haven't had problems with the metal one and neither has anyone else that I know of. It would probably be safer to get the metal a-arm because you can't really ever know for sure if the plastic one will hold.

In my experience, the plastic A arms are good for your general flying and mild stunts. As you get going into the wilder manuvers, the aluminum arms should work better.Ray Fernandez - GUAM

Nope. The exchange was plastic for plastic. The original A-Arm was molded in a way it would not sit at 90 degrees with rods and swash...It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

I have always used the V2 version of the plastic A-Arms on my Predator MAX AND my Predator Gasser - I now have burned many gallons of fuel through both and have never had a problem.
