Governor and voltage regulator
I need a governor and I like Futaba products but they advertise the throttle jockey pro as being equal to the Gv-1 and it is much cheaper but I hear the the throttle jockey only regulates the heading speed not monitors like the Gv-1 does.

Also I run my Raptor 50 on 6v but I plan on getting a 401 and 9254 and they only recommends 4.8v is there a regulator the will regulate just the tail servo and gyro and would I have to get 2 regulators for each or could I get away with one, or should I just go to 4.8v.
Thanks

The throttle jockey pro is not made by futaba, the Jockey pro is a good gov also have a look at the Curtis Youngblood gov.
As much at the throttle jockey pro just is limiter its easy to set up as you just put ur curves up and the gov will make sure the engine does not over speed.

You can get the Align step down 5.1v its very cheap £2.99 and will work perfect just plug it between the gyro and servo

The Aerospire multigov and CSM Revlock RL20 are my two favorite governors. The GV1 is old news, bigger, heavier, slower and almost twice the price of most other governors.Andy

I like the Multigov myself. Easy to set up, and if you like gadgets (like we all do), the LCD screen included makes adjustment of all the settings available that much easier....

Another vote for the mulitgov, it is easy to set up(even a planker could do it), and no tach is required.Old Guys Rule!
