T-REX 450SE 3D flight with the new ARC motor
Here's a video of the ARC 28-37-2 from LightFlight RC in a T-REX 450SE. Video was filmed by Dave S.(catahuladave). Hope you like the song!

Very nice flying and it didn't sound like the head bogged down at all on the demanding maneuvers. What was the comlete setup at the time of the video?

ESC
Blades
HS
Batt
Pinion

How hot was the motor and the batt after the flight?

Sorry for all the questions but currently in the market for a new motor and have been looking at Neu and Scorpion. I'm leaning toward the Scorp right now just because it is 1/2 the price of the Neu.

Thanks for the info

Stock SE running Trueblood dampeners
Align BL35G ESC
Align V2 Carbon 325's
TPX 2070 pack
ARC 28-37-2 with 13 tooth pinion
Hitec HS-65HBs
GY401/DS3400G
DX7/AR6100
Not sure about the headspeed

The motor runs pretty hot at around 150~160F, batteries get around 130F.(however, ambient temps have consistently been close to 100F recently). Not the coolest setup but the power is excellent and consistent throughout flights.

Cool, thanks for the info. Looking about 3000-3200 depending on efficency according to readyhelis HS calcs. It's nice to know that it ran like that on the stock BL35G ESC. I think I might have found a new contender for my money. Thanks Al.

That motor does look nice Chad. I think it is you. Hey Al, how is the business down at the Gainesville Hobby Town for you. Me and Chad both are at the Jacksonville one.

Cool to hear from both of you HTUSA folks! Although we're not getting the same traffic we were when we opened last year around the holidays(ABSOLUTELY NUTS), business is good considering it's summertime.
