WOW... now thats a relic....

how much is it worth?? hmmm hard to say as you're proably the only one that still has one... and practically NEW at that!

Curtis Youngblood might be the only one that could fly with that radio.

i tried doing some searching for you but all i could find is the users manual download link.

goodluck with the sale

There are always a few collectors in the M.A.A.C. magazine here looking for radios, they would probably salivate over that one...good luck with your sale..

OK; we have heard that it's up in age. (As quite a number of us also are)...As far as having it for lunch, (bit on the hard side I'd say)...Now can we get to finding a $$$ value for it???
If it was yours, what $$$ value would you say It has???

In about a year I'll probably put in a similar post like this but with a JR9303 radio.
Having my heli: Cool, Having a working heli: Awesome, Having a day to fly: PRICELESS!

Its basicly worth what someone is willing to pay for it. One mans trash is another mans treasure. To most it will likely be junk, but to the right person it might just be like that rare baseball card he has been looking for for years. So to ask a bunch of guys to put a price on something they would never use is asking a bit much. Not trying to be insulting. But it is a collectors item. And only a collector could tell you what it is worth. To a man flying modern equipment it has no value at all.Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

keep it and pass it down. it wont be worth anything for a long time most likely. in a hundred years you can put it on the "antique road show" and they can tell you how wonderful it is and how much its worth. then your son or grandson can go and sell it...Stupidity can be cured. Its turly a collectors item.
If it has a module on it, then its most likely not gonna be a collectors item anytime soon. I noticed that its PCM too.

Now a Kraft radio could be considered a collectors item.

I have a few old escapement radios at my fathers house. they are collectors items most definitely.

CRV,

Out of curiosity, what is the copyright date on the manual?

The gimball is what people want. It is getting harder to find the gimbals for people that want or need their transmitters converted to single stick.

wanna know whats its worth? Here's an idea

put it on ebay with a really high reserve price and set the auction for 10 days. then post a link on all the heli forums you could find and let the auction run. it might cost a couple bucks (at the most $10) in ebay fees (cause you're really not selling it) but it'll be worth it just to know the value is. you never know, you might get a high bidder and you can give them a "second chance offer" and actually sell it. its upto you.

clean it up real well and take some nice clear pics. its helps raise the value of any item, believe me. its stupid when people try to sell something and they dont spend any time cleaning it up and post it all dirty and gunky...not just helis but for everything...

i bet you'll get about $100 - $150 (maybe $200)
