aerial 360 pano question
Hi All,

What mode do you use to shoot aerial 360 pano? Aparture priority? or Auto?

I am assigned to do 360pano early morning, which means direct sun at the lense in one of the shot. in auto mode because of direct sun it makes surounding area dark and makes it difficult for ptgui to blend

I use nikon d200 with 10.5 nikkor fisheye

Thanks

Hatim,
Full manual. Adjust your aperture, shutter, ISO, etc. accordingly. I'm sure those who have more experience doing these will chime in and give some better advice. Depends on your technique for capturing the shots too.

I've been using aperture priority with good luck. I take some sample shots on the ground to make sure I'm in the ball park for exposures. If you happen to have a shot that is noticeably darker than the others you can adjust it in CS2 before inputting it to PTGui for stitching then it will be very little blending problems.

BTW I use the Peleng 8 mm fish eye lens for all my pano's. The lens is built like a tank.
