No you have to be a registered pilot at the IRCHA Jamboree next week. You don't need to be an IRCHA member to register for the Jamboree.

Sorry I can't read. You do have to be a member for the grand prize. At least that's what it says in the initial post.

Interesting... I sure hope the other kits that people actually put a pre-order on are out by then or that would kinda be wrong imho.

I think for non-members to join IRCHA is $35.00 and for members is $25.00. Its worth it to get a chance for that and other prizes.MAKE-IT-HOT They call me aka the hammer

I got a JR770T Gyro and the 8900G servo with the metal cases. They look awesome. The 770T is reported as performing better than the 7000T and has a metal case which helps in electric models for noise suppression. It looks the size of the GY401 and is simple to set up. It has fast response and is supposed to hold the tail way better than the 401. I find in flips the 401 always swings the tail slightly...this should help that without having to go to the expense of a 611. Perfect for my evo 50 anyways. The 8900G has specs like this....metal case.....05 secs for 60 degrees and 3.5 kg/cm (49oz/in) and when you pick up a 9254 and turn the servo horn with your fingers it is all notchy compared to the same test on the 8900. The servo is so smooth. I have always been a futaba gyro person with two 401's , a 601 and a 611 but this JR770T is worthy of a very hard look especially with this servo.
I believe from another post recently that A Szabo Jnr runs them.

From thread http://www.runryder.com/t361639p1/?p=2855556#RR

"On both my machines I was using the JR 770t with the 8900G tail servo"

Alan Szabo Jr

Not that it will make us fly like him but it must show that it is worthy of consideration.

Bparro, did you register for the jamboree only and not join IRCHA? If you joined IRCHA I did not see the confirmation that you joined or you would have gotten a card.

As far as for the Jamboree, you should have gotten a confirmation email from KAGI that you were registered for the Jamboree registration. You will recieve your pilot pack when you check in at the Jamboree.

let me know if this is different

I got an email from kagi but was not sure. I thought for $35 an IRCHA memership was included in the jamboree registration. Is that not the case?
