Im just starting a build on a good friends vario Augusta 109 and I have vario Extreme mechanics to go in it and was wondering if anybody knows if this is possible or has been done. I did a search but didnt come up with much at all.
Any help would be great.

Yes it is very possible, and boy does it work well. We have a gentlemen at our field that has an electric conversion in his Extreem inside his EC- 135 he uses 2x 5s2p lipo packs and brushless motor set up. Joe Howard of East Cost Scale Helicopters sells everything you need to convert it to electric. Good luck hope this helps. -

Im hoping for a more scale sound and no smoke (unless things go real wrong). I have contacted Joe as he was great, I will place my order tonight or tomorrow.
