Can I use this as a video camera mount for Pan and Tilt??
It seem like the gear box pan and tilt system have plenty of power and can be very simple and light weight to make a mount when stack the two gear box on top of each other and the camera on top of the Tilt. Any opinion on this??

Of course you can use it... it is a little heavy but will work none the less.

I have one of their pan and tilt systems. Its ugly, heavy, and it sticks down way to far under your heli. It is right now collecting dust as I don't use it. Do yourself a favor, just get a pro mount and be done with it. It will save you money and headaches in the long run.

Thanks for the input, I kind of have that feeling also. I really perfer a front mount, but most pro front mount are in the few thousands. Because of budget, it seem either, I have to build a front mount, or buy
an airfoil mount.

Check out a mount from Askman.

I'm getting ready to buy one for my Slowstick. Prices are very reasonable.
