Cellpro lipos
Who here uses Cellpro lipos? I was just wondering because I need to purchase new lipos for my rex 450. Any trouble with these packs?

I use Cellpro & BalancePro packs and they are the best performing and longest lasting packs we have on our field. Part of the reason for this is the quality of their cells and the other is balance charging-I use both Cellpro and BalancePro chargers. I originally bought Cellpro packs because the cells were made by Kokam and these were tested to last beyond 250 cycles. I then bought big 4800mah cells for my Henseleit machines after using other makes without success and much frustration. FMA now use Worley Parson cells and these are holding their voltage even better than Kokam cells during heavy amp demand. Those Cellpros are cheap enough to try. I have 4 packs for my Trex450 and 3, with Kokam cells, have around 130 cycles and are still feeling great. I'm just breaking in the 4th pack which uses Worley Parson cells and the pack feels very strong. The other thing of note is not to fly beyond 85% of the capacity of your packs.

if cellpro uses kokam then you can bet they are high quality, kokam was the first to mass produce rc lipos.i have 3 kokam 1500 that are 4 years old and have over 300 cycles, airplane use only.there discharge ratings are too low for my use in helis.Urukay HPS3 KSE 700 HPS3

I have 4 Cellpro 3s1p 2100s and a cellpro charger. I fly them in a Mini Titan and have no problems. I love the charger. I use a converted PC power supply to power it. The 2100s are 18C packs, a higher discharge would be good, but I may try a 3200 just to see how she flies (longer time, lower temp, but quite a bit heavier).

I wouldn't hesitate to use any of their products.
