Boca part #HF1216 I will test mine today also. The feel of the bearing is smoother just when turning the gear. Time will tell if it will hold up better.Life is like a box of chochlates!

I am no bearing expert but I think they are all named HF1216. The one I ordered has less rollers and still has the same number. I also noticed the one in the kit had HF1216 on it too. The one I ordered fits the sleeve much better than the original one though.

Yes the bearing number is always the same.

you do have to know what the bearing number is before you can order it from any company.

All bearings have their respective number on the dust cover.

I've been running only Boca one-ways in my 600E and 600N. Once you install a Boca you will fully realize how crappy the Align one-way is. The Boca is not only smoother but spins twice as long. This will help in many areas, also less chance of failure. For lube I use a special one-way lube I have from racing RC cars.

Which one-way shaft are you using? The stock 'kit' one? Very interested in the Boca...everything I've bought from them has been top-notch.

I just ordered 3 from Boca for my fleet, all having one way issues.

For those having issues, have you noticed if it happens more during harder, "jerkier" flights (like collective pumping) than smooth, easier flights? The needle bearing carrier in the stock bearing just looks like it could not handle heavy loads. Just a thought....

The standart "INA HF1216" bearing that comes with the kit handles max 11K rpm and 12.2N of torque (which is too low in my opinion).

Btw, INA states the one way should be greased only with white lithium grease... how about that?

Can't really say for sure. With a product like the T600n it's expected that its going to be abused very hard!

I wonder what kind of testing did they actually do before pre-release? You have all these sponsored pilots flying the hell out of these birds, and not one of them complained or brought the issue to Aligns attention? Was the product testing just a funfly?

Boca Bearings... Delray beach Florida.
For all you guys in the Ft. Lauderdale area, looking for one of the best bearings out there you might want to check out boac bearings.. in delray beach... Price is a bit expensive 17.95 but I must say one rock sold solution to the cheap Align bearing.. That is if you dont want to wait for one to be shipped to you..

Boca $17 VXB $9
Why would you pay more for the Boca? Mine is working perfectly and I was trying to blow it buy power pumping, slamming it around with like 26 degrees of collective and clicking out of hold while in Idle up.. Still smooth. If the Boca does fail later you paid more for it.

I remember needing a common raptor bearing and 2 bocas cost more than the raptor bearing upgrade that had like 12 or more in it.

I had mine in 2 days priority mail.

Boca doesnt manufactor , just resells the product. VXB and Boca are probably the exact same bearing from the exact same manufactor (only eight to choose from and the one and only in the US basically does class 7 for NASA.)RIP Roman

Or the $3.80 one from HeliDirect. Mine is doing well so far. I have only had a chance to fly it a few times so far but it definately is holding up better than the stock one. It fits the sleeve much better.
