Wow that's allot of system capability there! Like the option for external power inputs to the Xbus connectors.

Seen loading tests on heli's while sitting on the bench with Vbar pitch pump set at 100 can create 25amp swash servo loads. Thats just three servos with no flight loads!

Lol, If you had an airplane with that many servos your going to need a system drawings with all the servo address's.

I have to get couple of parts for the twin, so we will have more fun than hurting us. Hopefully all the parts come in this week so I can have it ready for the weekend. Have fun and enjoy the beautiful day out there guys.

Well, I guess that's it! MiniatureAircraft has officially shut their doors after 26 years of business. Small business can't thrive in this market that has been flooded by foreign manufactures that can offer a product with a retail price of what a US manufacturer can barely produce kits for, Sad!

Yep sad to see them go. Not sure if its only a cost thing, ya have to make a demand for your product. Hobby is very trendy but on the other hand there are a number of boutique brands out there making it.

I think marketing has played a role in some of this, not to mention other factors and the things yoo guys have already said...

They were low on money, and not seeing returns from the whiplash series.

This is why they shut down, not enough money in it to stay running.

Over the last 26 years we strive to provide the highest quality American made products using American labor, American made CNC machines and American made raw materials. Due to the influx of overseas brands and increase cost of producing models in the USA, we can no longer continue to produce and stay competitive in this market.

Hey Mike,
You were probably better off missing yesterday very crowded no room and some rudeness as well. I feel like we need to do a better job at being respectfull of others while (IT'S THEIR TURN TO FLY)!
When someone is flying we should give them their space, what is it a 5 minute wait or in the case of a nitro 10 minutes. Even though it is not mentioned some feel very uncomfortable with someone else flying while they are. It is only gonna take one accident and all the rules will change for all of us... Then it's too late!!!

The problem is we are used to only having 5 people flying on the heli side and most of the time we don't mind taking turns and waiting! But when the heli side gets packed! Things change! They have to! You have to take in consideration that no one is trying to be rude by "cutting in line" it just that no one can keep up with who flew last or who is going next, so they grab their stuff a go out when they see an opening! Sometimes two people try for the same spot! And well the fact is there are 4 heli pads! Just because some one else wants to fly at the same time doesn't mean that they or you can't! Everyone has to adjust their flying style to accommodate the person/s wanting to flying next to them! I remember the days when we would have 4 nitro 700's flying at the same time! And we never had an issue! As long as everyone was responsible and respected the other person/s air space.

Some people don't like flying while other people are also flying and I can see why! But that doesn't mean that two or three people "can't" fly at the same time! When it comes down to it! Sometimes it has to happen! At other clubs multiple people fly at the same time every weekend and even planes and helis at the same time! So we really have it good! And some times we get spoiled! LOL!! I know I do! And I really notice it when I'm trying to get flights in at events to get comfortable for the demos and I have people flying 100 feet away from me doing 100mph hurricanes! But you just have to deal with it! Or chose not to and wait until nobody is flying to fly.

I for one will say that if I'm going fly and some one is even plugging in I will wait! And if I have to I will say to the person flying I'm going up on the next or furthest pad so they know where I'm at.

Just so anyone knows! if I'm flying or testing or whatever and you want to fly at the same time just let me know before or come up to me while I'm flying and let me know where your going up and I'll move over or adjust to stay out of the way! So you can fly! That's how we used to do it at the field And still how it's done at other fields and Funflys.

We all are capable of safely sharing air space at our club! When we have to! It's plenty big enough no matter what size heli we're flying.

Well said Tyler.

Not much to add but I had a blast Sunday, wish I could of stayed all day. We can easily fly two at a time, used to be normal for three to be in the air all day. Flying styles have changed with allot of big air stuff though.

When we have a big turn out its fun fly mode, kinda have to make the get ready move before the guy on the pad is even done with the typical 5-8min flights, you know when there gonna land. I'm looking down the isle and if anyone is getting ready I wait too.

Agree
I agree guys we have been spoiled for quite some time only flying one at a time and yes it's nice but I would rather see the big turnout and adjust my flying . I had a great time Sunday . Tyler's right when you go to a Funfly there might be five , six and sometimes more people flying at the same time right next to one another . As long as everyone respects their neighbors airspace it all works out . I think it was great to see that many people enjoying our hobby whether it was flying or socializing . It beats being stuck in the house !!!!!!

What goes up may never come down !!!!!!!
