130x goblin ( i have two of them ) smack down time
fbl head rocks. two crashes yesterday, no crashes today in heavy wind. if u fly over heavy grass and crash, u just pick it up, and fly more. no damage. lets u try new stuff w/o repairs. btw i use a diny drop of ca gule on the c gear d gear seams to hold better.

Where your supposed to stand while flying. Felt kinda awkward standing in there, so I never did.

NEED HELP DECIDING
looking to get a micro heli to practice with. which would be a good choice of heli? the one that needs the least amount of mods to make if fly right. kinda like the 130, but there is alot of little stuff to do, and the nano is nice also.

any input??

The nano is nice but isn't very powerful. Loops rolls inverted flight, that's about it. The 130 with the hp08 motor is a lot more capable. It's helped me out a lot. If you want it to survive hard crashes then I'd recommend metal grips. But that's about all it really needs. All the other little mods are the "free" ones.

the 130's ive seen at the field vibrate like crazy. i still may look at it more, but from what ive seen it kinda turned me off. now if there are simple fixes that dont require me buying a ton of crap to fix it then thats another story.

If you go fast enough the 130x shakes. Bullet blades much less so but they don't pop as well.

130x ( fbl head/ tt tail/ brushless motor )
flew in moderate wind today, solid as a rock. im still amazed. im staying stock so far, but getting ready for some upgrades soon. not sure i need the extra power of the upgrade motor. im running 80 percent straight throttle curve, more than enough power for my needs rigth now. batteries so cheep, 4 bucks each. amazing. i have 8 packs. about 60 flights in three weeks. im loving this. i did have some inital issues with one of them. bad berings in tail.meltdown. easy fix. no problems since. vibration was driving me nutz on both, just fixed it today. smooth as silk now.

My 130x just let the smoke out of my HP08 motor! It went POOF! ESC still works on the old motor so its back to stock for now.
