Battery index
Ran across this a while back, this guy is going to the trouble of listing all these different lipos. Really makes it a bit easier to find battery's on some of the difficult to navigate vendor sites.

Oh and heres a picture of my new Logo 600. Man I really like this machine.

Backyard flying would be nice! I've barely enough room to hover living in a subdivision.... Well Nomac is only about 10miles away so its not too bad.

Converting to the 50 is the best thing that could happen to a Raptor 30!

I don't know how fast the Logo is but it uses up the heli field really fast when you get it moving.

i had to slow the outrage down lol it covers some ground in a hurry.
yea i cant see a market for the r30 because its more stable as a 50 i guess cost and the the fact: new guys to the hobby wouldnt run a gov and try to run woodies at 2250 im just guessing not that 1700 isnt fast enough .
i want a vbar sooo bad right now but she cut me off until we get paypal paid compleatly paid off and my raise finally gets on my check its a dang office issue as usual.

i have 3 acres in covington its nice, only have 2 to fly on or so but it sucks for us to drive to nomac i will be soon tho i need heli guys around me i got the bug bigtime . greg

Guess I left before the fire. Was it one of the scale ships?

If it totally smoked I guess there no way to know the source of the fire.

Guest fromm Texas
Hey Guys:

Great flying was enjoyed by all today at R/C Fields. We had a guest, Marvin Williams from Texas, who represents R/C Aerodyne, listed at scaleflying.com which has a myriad of great products.

He was flying a "knock-off" of a 450 and had the head break in two after only some mild aerobatics with the head flying off and the rest immediately hitting the ground causing a 3-cell lipo to ignite. That was the smoke you witnessed. Fortunately, the battery was not attached to the main body at the time of the fire as it had separated in the impact.

Hope to see all of ya'll next Sunday for the BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i wasnt able to come out again today i hear yall had a great day.
i attempted to fly the r50 but the tail rotor hub broke shooting 1 tr blade into the ground , no one was hurt heli was spooling up anyway,
i think the grub screw that holds the arm/shaft on was stressed at some point in its life and decide to give out ( 12 dollars for that and the slider fork could have been a lipo or heli i guess.

im trying to get stuff ready for the event at the the end of the month and just when i think i got it snap lol, just part of the hobby i guess. greg

I had a great weekend too. Found the light fixture I wanted for over my kitchen sink, changed out some electrical stuff, got on the sim, got Jack on the sim, and had a little fun with the MX or whatever micro heli it is I have for house flying. Jack got some time on the micro heli too, but he kind of just hopped it around on the floor.

Wish I could get the time to get out there. Next sunday I'll be at a car thing most of the day, so I'll miss the cook out.
