Looks windy Shawn, but thats nothing new around here lately!

South East winds work great though, trees block it from getting to the pit area.

Why do people use UPS? I'm in suite 3600. The package was addressed to me at suite 3600 and listed the firm name. My package was delivered to Ernst & Young in suite 3900, AND someone signed for it.

I'm confused.

F you, UPS.

UPS
I sent one of my turbine engines back to AMT about 8 years ago for check up and bearing change and about 3 weeks went by and I never received it. I called it and they said that the UPS drives left the package at the door. Well nothing ever showed up. I finally filed a complaint with UPS and it turns out that AMT had my address on file as 12 Tara and my real address is 21 Tara. I went to 12 Tara and asked if they have received a package for me and the guy said, Yes, about 2 weeks ago. He did not know who I was and he opened the package up and had the turbine sitting in his computer room "looking at it". He said that he was getting ready to send it back to AMT. After he gathered up everything that was in the box he gave it back to me. This was actually not a UPS issue but I though it was for a while. It was a neighbor and AMT issue.

2200 3S 30C lipos
This is David Bertrand. Glad you had a great flying afternoon. I called Greg when you all were out there. Batteries are from XtremePowerSystems.NET

They did their own testing of all Lipos on the market and found which battery manufacturer produced the best batteries and then they began to sell these batteries. XPS main business is producing a 2.4 module system for radios that have modules. I have several of their batteries including several 6s for my Trex 600. I have several of their 3S 2200 mah for my trex 500. I ordered 4 more today for other airplanes.

LIPOs

Just ordered 3 of them.....thanks for letting me know Dave.

You should see Kirk fly that helicopter....2 weeks ago his heli was not set up correctly.....last week sunday he was hovering and flying around with training gear...today he was flying high, without training gear, doing figure 8s, and banking and doing it on a relatively windy day.....this guy is moving up fast......awesome growth.....another couple of weeks and he will be in a 600......

UPS delivered my exhaust system, read brake pads, and FREE T-SHIRT today. I'm happy. Can't wait to get all installed on the bike.

Also, UPS dropped off my heli-max micro. I got a couple of short flights in. Can't wait to buzz the secretaries in the morning. After I get in trouble for that, I'm going to see if I can get Jack on the sim to settle him down a little, then get him on the helimax micro. For some reason, as 4 years old, kids want to give it full up and watch it go out of sight. *sigh*

Grassssssssssssssss is cut
Just got home from the Avondale field. Got off work around noon and cut grass. The field has expanded again. The entire area to the south fence will be flying area. The grass will be worked unitl it is in the same condition as the grass in front of the shed. Bob wanted to open this area up for the larger helis so that they will have more room to fly.

Dave S. Thanks bud, but I need to spend some time on the Sim. Your work on the site is great. I have another link to add: XtremePower
Systems.net They just came out with a line of Lipos that were tested against all others and have a great price.

I will be at the field Sat and Sun. Hope to see everyone there.
