if you keep flying with the tail setup backwards, you willk run into dificulties when you start to fly forward flight.

i changed the tail servo back on the rappy, hope it works out ok.thats one of the reasons why i had'nt setup idle1 yet because of the tail drift.as long as i know it's a mechanical problem i'm satified.i was worried it was the gyro..

learn how to tune a heli first then a gov will benifit you, but until you can tune the heli it wont matter a gov only works the best with a properly tuned heli.

hey Dave so when is the funfly im really looking forward to it.

craymanus:

My opinion is that you should be flying idle up as much as possible. It helps a lot when you are FF in wind.

Matt:

Ordered a Novus CX from Tower today. I would have gotten it from you guys, but I know I will not get to the shop until weekend after next. Have a car show to go to on sunday. Will be detailing the car on saturday. It needs it.

inkspot,im working on learning the engine,,i think i'm getting a handle on that though, i've been playing alot with the throttle curves,as far as needle settings i think i can handle that part..i try not too just learn too fly but also learn the mechanics.but one thing for sure I WILL CATCH ON.....when i'm not at the field i tinker alot just learning different things,,,lololol read and tinker, read and tinker..to me i think it's more important to learn the mechanics then it is to fly...i got all the time in the world lolol

Hi guys,

So this is about my 3rd time getting back into flying. Wanted to know what the best day was to come out to see heli's fly, Saturday or Sunday? Would just want to come check it out and see if I'm interested in joining. I've got a Raptor 30v2 and sjm 215. Still just a beginner. Also, do you guys have two fields now or is it just the new one.

Thanks,

Jeremy

I would like to come out on sunday with my preg wife to show her the club so that i can join very soon with her . I am also trying to talk her to getting on the simulator to get some practice, but has not happened yet.
