Peewee, dude, I got your email, and I appologize for taking so long to get back to you. I was gone almost all weekend and this morning is the first chance I really had to go through my emails. Your landing gear setup is sweet dude. I love the combo gear strut action you have going there. The video is sweet too. Ross is right, there is a little vibration, doesn't appear to be to bad though. However, it will need to be addressed at some point as it will show up as blur in your stills if you shoot with engine power on. Regardless bro, you have come a long way and you are doing great. I am anxious for you to get your FPV setup on that bad boy. Dude, thats when the fun REALLY begins! Keep us posted on that.
Ross, you haven't missed any updates on my new project plane. I don't even know where to begin on an explanation of where this project is taking me. What started out as a "replacement" for a SS has turned into an obsession and has taken on a life I would have never thought possible 6 months ago. I'm even contemplating a move to Austin Texas for more R&D. Out of a sheer magnitude of the project, I have had to involve a couple other key individuals in the development and as a result of this I believe we will have something special. I want to be careful not to be to overly optimistic but I think that is an understatment. I can't say anymore, but rest assured the big things going on with this project are more in what I CAN"T tell you. As time goes on I will try to be more forth coming with info but right now I have to be careful. I know you guys understand. Stay tuned more to come in the next couple months.

Sounds intriguing Kevo - look forward to seeing more in due course when the "veil of secrecy" is lifted!!

I am guessing is will probably be a replacement to the Predator UAV or something similar!!

3D videos? Yep! You see with this little video Youtube additiction i have I stumbled onto something... I bought a Tachyon XC helmet cam for when we go riding.. Tachyon liked a few of my videos some much they lumped me into a contest they were having without my knowledge nor application.. well it looks like I won the the Super-Duper package http://www.tachyoninc.com/contest.html I'm at the bottom of the page... I really think they just wanted to give me a camera for putting down the GoPro helmet cam... I just woonder if the Slow stick will lug it around.. just once would be cool! PS. that blurr may have been a pretty chipped up prop

Congrats "PeeWee the Pinstriper", does that mean your going to send us all 3d glasses so we can watch your movies?

I like the 'letterhead' fonts you use in your videos.

Hey Peewee, forget putting that bad boy on your SS! Send it to Troy! I can see this in the hands Of Troy Raymond. He would find a way to put stabilization in it. Then he would strap it to the neck of the neighbors dog. You know, the neighbor with the swimming pool with all the bikini clad hotties that flock to it. Then he would make sure he could get the dog back over to his house so he could occasionally charge the batteries and swap out flash cards. He would also make sure that it would have FULL zoom capability. Bah!

Teasing you bro. Congrats on your win!

I'm with Troy Peewee, If I'm doing a shoot, I fly visual, then frame the target FPV. Right now I am doing tests learning to fly by FPV only. I think that is important as even just doing FPV to frame the shot you can lose visual with the plane after your done shooting the picture. Its like "holy crap where is it??!!" By learing to fly FPV all the time it won't be such a big deal when and if that happens.

Wow …it’s been a while. It’s hard to explain but I’ve missed you guys. People up to sH#@! I miss that.

I hate to say it but I’m back to doing AP with the rotor wing again …kind of working for me again. Don’t have to fly all over the sky to get the shot. Have I gone to the dark side? The pucker factors back though.

My buddy owns a stereo store so I went buy and picked up a 7" headrest moniter like he put in my truck. Just need to make a "dark room" (Rubbermaid or cardboard box) to house it and I should be good to go.. just gotta refine it from there..gonn try it today but not sure if I will take my eyes of the plane since I will be in the pines with lotsa tall trees getting some shots for a friend that is in a land dispute.. I will take my Flip Ultra hd and FPV on the SS.. I did make a mount for the flip for my Trex 450..I Tried that little bird and my Raptor 50 and the little bird won out for smoothness..Butterflies and pucker all in the same boat!

Got a little side tracked.. My "Peewee" Rat rod.. It fits my name anyhow.. 1200cc dual carbs..Here she is on the 12' trailer.. I got 3 of them for $400.. Garage kept since 1987.. but aren't they sweet with a V8? Pro street looks so good too. But for now i can only dream.. If I could do this to it I would be in heaven.. or divorced! LOL here is one I found on the 'net

Hey Lee, good to see you pop up on this thread again. Hey listen. I know this goes against EVERYTHING that this thread is about. But I am currently under a strict confidentiality scenario right now and I can't talk about ANYTHING. If this were not so, trust me I would be posting daily on this thread. I am truly not trying to be a jerk. I'm going to have to leave you guys to read between the lines. However, that 9CAP you sent me? Well it is being put to good use. Also, what I'm involved in is moving me to Leander Texas. You know this is big for me to leave my beloved Alaska. Anyway. I will be there full time as early as October or November. You being on Oklahoma, dude, we should hook up somewhere and go storm chasing or something what do you say?
