Which arm to use on 9650 servo?
Hello,

I'm in the process of setting up my 450SEv2 and have a question about which servo arm to use on the 9650. In every picture that I have seen of 9650 setups, they are using a single arm.

My servo came w/ the circular arm. I have recently moved and I don't know if I mis-placed my servo arms for the 9650 or even if it came w/ other servo arms.

Can someone enlighten me?

i just use the wheel too. mine didnt come with any other servo arms, but i do think that normal futaba arms work with it thoughSLO Flyers

I use wheels on my 9650 servos too. Works very well.

Does anyone know if the 9650 comes w/ different arms?
Mine just came with the round one fitted to the servo .At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Thanks for all the replies!!! Now my memory is coming back to me, I think the "wheel" is the only arm I got with it!

I haven't put the ball on it yet, but it seems like it's going to be a challenge aligning this w/ the tail pushrod. I hope I'm wrong...

Pete, it will be easy. Just drill the hole out on the wheel a small amount so that the ball threads into it without stressing the plastic.

Everything lines up nicely and the relatively short throw of the wheel means that you're getting good servo resolution too. The wheel is just about perfect for this application.

i just used a standard small wheel
I also used the side lugs to mount the servo.

Thanks for the replies! I just got my other servo arms centered and I'm adjusting linkages per heli-freak's ccpm videos...

I can't wait to get this thing into the air!
