Razor-First Impressions A+
I've been gently breaking in my Evo 25 3700mah batts on the Razor and all I have to say is this machine is soooo smooth! My anal building skills resulted in a heli that once was airborne didnt require any mechanical adjustments at all. My headspeed is right under 2100 and this thing just humms. My buddy has the T-wrecks(Trex 600) and there is a noticeable difference. My bird RTF weights just under 8.5 lbs. I'm running the Tango 45-08 and the Jazz. I'm flying for 3 mins very easily for the first 10 flights to break-in the batts right. My motor is on the hot side but my speed controller is cool and so are the batts (ambient temp is 90 degrees).
After my first few flights during landings I noticed the landing skids spreading apart when I was coming off the power, I guess the headspeed is so fast and the negative pitch comes in when I come off the power it starts to paste the heli to the ground. To remedy this I just hit the t-hold and land-all is well. If anyone is planning on making a purchase, this is the heli to buy-bar none! Granted parts are more expensive, but the heli is well worth it. I love it!

i second that! i maidened my razor this memorial weekend and probably the best word to describe it is "smooth". it gets criticized because of its weight but i don't feel it in the air at all. really nice heli.

The Razor is very smooth and predictable , but It's heavy no doubt about it and you relly feel it when you fly a Razor and then a Logo 14 like I do.

My Razor weights 9lbs RTF

epc2.

Neato, I am going to buy a Razor in the next week or so and was curious about how it acts compared to the T Rex.
