Its called the G-View, and should be out in about 6 weeks or so. It is basicly like Inkspot described.Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

OK. So it's along the lines of the 611, i.e. it has a sensor and amp. I guess it doesn't have a servo. I wonder if the lcd will allow you to change all the parameters needed for the gyro. this is something to keep an eye on.

from what i hear you will be able to use a futaba 9256,9251 or a 9253,9254 servo with it. it will be sold without a servo so you can choice which one you want to have and save money on what even combo you want. its supposed to be priced lower then the 611 combo, even when you buy a 9256 at full retail price but not sure as of yet. its gonna rock for sure come on its made by Curtis Youngblood enough said...

the G-View will show all the setting on the Solid-G also

That's F'ng sweet!!!! There really is no need for the LCD in the amp once the gyro or governor has been programmed. I wonder if it will be cheaper than the 6100t or 720?

I found the ATG insanely easy to set up and I am the King of screwing up setup things. It was easy enough that I thought I was doing it wrong. The blinking lights are very easy. I can only imagine how easy the LCD would make things...

Like it has been said, Curtis has his name on it enough said. I KNOW Curtis likes simple things to use. "Make it work FIRST then make it look O.K." he told me once. Can't argue with that.

I image Curtis will recommend a 8700G or etc for it. You might can use a Futaba servo, but of course he will be using a JR. The case for the gyro looks like a JR G5000T case. The unit housing and sensor housing both. I bet it is. Nothing wrong with that.

I'll have one of them when they come out.

Alright who has one and how do you like it. Brian said they were on sale at IRCHA so plenty of folks should have some time on one by now.

The G-View is really nice when used on the ATG. Curtis took a look at my setup and he fixed all my minor problems. Great service for sure.

We set the gear ratio to 8.3 to match my heli and because I'm using a 14mz I could not get the rpms dialed right on the tx. The display showed the ATG rpm and I adjusted my tx to get the desired value. In flight the HS was right on.

I have two older ATGs and one new one. The older ATGs still work with the G-View but you see other settings that you don't have to mess with. Just hold the P button for 10 seconds when turning on the power and you can walk through the settings.
