Not me but I would imagine the HS6965's would work just fine. Only for something using CCPM, but not on something like a raptor 90. |

The Hitec 6965's are great for the price considering there speed and power!! but what lets them down, is there resolution. There is a noticeable difference between the Hitec's and say Futaba or JR when used on the cyclic's. Ryan. |

The Hitec 6965's are great for the price considering there speed and power!! but what lets them down, is there resolution. There is a noticeable difference between the Hitec's and say Futaba or JR when used on the cyclic's. I'm not a wiz when it comes to resolution, but I do check specs. I'm using the HS6965's on my Trex600, and I get zero interactions. However, on my N9 I opted for the Airtronics 94758Z X3 for cyclic's. Hope thats ok because where I bought them from says nothing about resolution. Do you want a higher or lower number???? I'm guessing a lower one, but who knows? How about a lesson..... |

Double check those Airtronics 94758Z servos! Try using your finger to hold the swash plate from moving. You will see that you can keep the swash from traveling pretty easily. The rated force on these servos does not translate accurately to swash power! Now try the same thing with say a Futaba S9351, the result is much different. You might end up with a blood blister, the difference is crazy.I started with the Airtronics, found some issues and then swapped to the Futaba S9351 servos. Been very happy since. Specs don't tell the whole story.Fly it like you stole it! |

I agree some what, but it's obvious in, it's all who you ask!Nigel Brown quote:
Hi Guys,
I've just converted over to the JR DS8711 servos on cyclic/collective in the N9. They are more precise around centre stick and make the model feel even more looked in than with 9351's. You will not be dissapointed Cheers Nigel wolfcbr2003:Servo's Here is a servo to look at. How about the Hitec 6975hb. 144oz torque and 6.0 volts and .10 speed I have over a 100 flight on my trex 600 and no slop at all. I have 5 gallons on the Synergy with 9351's and have metal slop. I think I am going totrythe 6975's onthis bird next. Marcus So here's someone saying 6975's, even though he hasn't tried them and I'm sure he's going off specs. I can only comment on the 6965's and for my 600 they work as advertised. (would buy again for TREX 600)So what is the best top three servo's for the N9. Also why is so much torque needed with a CCPM heli where ALL SERVOS ARE HELPING????
Sorry for the hi-jack.... |

yeap I measured and they have a little bit closer hole spacing. It's close but the way the N9 is pre-drilled I don't see how you could use the Hitec's |

All the hitec servo's I've tried in the Synergy didn't work very well. They don't seem to center well enough to get a good setup.However... in a non CCPM setup, they work just fine.
I've got them in my R90.Try the Futaba 9351's.So far they're working great!Canada Shawn |
