The one at Tower Hobbies is not the same or as good. Take a closer look at the one I pictured. A lot better pitch assembly!Blades; what goes around, comes around!

Have to agree with that. Always better to have two connections to the pitch slider but how do they keep it captive to the slider or do they just rely on the pivot for alignment?

I have not seen this assembly in person. But I would guess there are screws on both sides and they end in a pin shape. The two pins would fit in the groove on the pitch slider. The tailshaft would position the slider and the pivot and arms would position the pins. The pins would be a sliding fit to the slider to make up for the arc motion of the arms and the linear motion of the slider. With just enough clearance to prevent binding. But is just my guess.

The Evo uses this style but the stock one is made of plastic.Blades; what goes around, comes around!

The only trouble with that theory is that if the pins on the end of the scissor were fixed in position they would come out of the groove at either end of travel if in line with the axle at centre of travel or if in line with the axle at either end then they would be out of the groove at the centre of travel. This is why Align has to have a fork on one side of the pitch slider because of the fixed attachment point on the other.

It looks similar to the Trex pitch slider. Check Helidirect and Grandrc I think they stock some Ark stuff.
