BAD ESC here is the problem when i go to give thro the motor won't start i have to keep playing with the thro until it kicks in i thought it was my motor a 430l so i bought a 430xl and i still have the same problem could it be the esc an align 35G. need help |

are you sure that you have it on low throttle to start with. if the throttle is up at all the esc wont innitilize |

when i set it up the thro sub trim was at half i don't know if that would have anything to do with it. |

When you plug your battery in, does the ESC initialize? If if it a Castle or Align, it has a series of beeps (kind of like music) when initializing.Or, do you get those beeps after playing with the throttle some? If that is the case, you need to lower the endpoint on your throttle channel. I would actually try that either way.Dano |

I had the same problem. . . According to Align USA RC you left your ESC on too long during setup . .The ESC over heated and the programming has been lost. . . .I had to send my 35X back for replacement.Nas, |

What Wingman said. Since you're eventually able to get it to initialize my thought is that you're not turning it on at full negative throttle.Try lowering the lowest curve point for Normal on your throttle curve to a negative value, if possible. Or if your radio has a throttle hold function, put it in the negative range and power on in that mode.I've got an ATX transmitter that I use from time to time that I have to jam down on the throttle to get an ESC to arm with.~~OCHC~~
