GV-1 max speed display

Going to the function screen that says 0max this is the screen to display the max rpm on a climbout. After a climbout with the gov off and on there is not a number. How does this work. The instructions tell about it, but thats about it.

It only records max rpm when at full power.

I had thought max rpm was displayed on a climbout.

Set "gov off at high stick" (GvOf) on, but leave the gov turned on, then do a climb out. At least that's my recollection, don't think the instructions mention this.Wyn
