separate BEC needed with BL35X?
I'm putting together a Trex SE V2, and using an Align RCE-BL35X ESC. Should I use a separate BEC or will the BEC in the ESC work fine? I'm using 3 HS65MG servos for swash, and GY401/S9650 for the tail. If I should get a separate BEC, which ones would you recommend?

The doc for the ESC says that the BEC puts out 2A, and that on a 3S battery it can power 3 servos. Since the heli has 4 servos and a gyro, I would think this isn't adequate. But why would Align include an ESC with a BEC that isn't adequate?

fwiw..

Been using this combo since the 35X came out, works fine absolutely no issues. No separate bec needed..Gov mode even works well om the new 35X with the V2 450..

I've been using the 35X on my V2 with 3 65MGs,401/DS3400G and AR6100 receiver. Haven't had any problems.

I run the 35x all digital servos it works real good the esc doesn't even get warm no ext. becDewey
