Just started and DX7

I just started flying heli and currently I have a DX6. So far no complaints but I'm drooling for a DX7(I'm a tinkerer). My LHS didn't have one yet at the time I got my DX6.

Does learning how to fly a heli has something to do with the radio? If yes, is it worth stepping up to DX7 from a DX6?

If you are flying a CCPM heli with a DX6 the mixing to the servos is delayed QUITE abit then the DX7.. The speed of the DX7 is very close to the top end radios.. So this means when you step up to the DX7 there will be no delay to the servos if you are flying a CCPM heli

If you have the $$$ its worth it to have a great radio like the DX7. THis will be the only radio you will ever need ...~TEAM OCHC~

DX7 would be worth every penny. With 5 point curves and better mixes. It is a one stop purchase. Once you have this, any thing else bigger will just be want you want. The DX7 has everything you ever need in a heli radio.

If cash is a huge issue, I've done a lot of 3d with the DX6...As an entry radio , it works fine on helis like T Rex, but its programming sucks by comparison to the DX 7...6 works fine, but a DX 7/AR 6100 combo in a 450 is very hard to beat..
BTW, the heli programming in the new 6 ch Futaba is even worse than the DX 6
