Sponsor?
I was just filling out an AMA application online, and it said to reference a sponsor who is also an AMA member. I haven't flown in a while, so I don't really know anyone who is an AMA member anymore.
Is it even necessary to include a sponsor to get the membership?
I don't remember having to do that when I was a kid...

Just put 77227 Andy Griffith

Not required but I think whomever you put gets a price break the next year.

I just...
got my AMA membership card in the mail. When I filled out the app.
I left the sponsor info blank. I think it is used to credit the
sponsors next membership. No biggie.
