Titan tail servo mount broke in flight

I was out flying my Titan today and just as I came out of a roll my tail got real mushy. It wasn't a complete pirouette but I wouldn't say I had real tail control either. I hit the throttle hold and landed pretty hard in some tail grass. Luckily that saved my blades and the only other damage appears to be the front skid that broke. The tail servo mount broke right at the screw holes. Nothing else on the tail was damaged so my initial thoughts are the mount broke in flight which led to loss of tail control. Anyone ever heard of this happening on a Titan.

At this point I'm thinking of just going with the QuickUK carbon tail set since I hate those crappy tail guides anyway. Is a carbon tail rod a good idea? I'm worried I'll be replacing 9254 servo gears after every crash.

i got rid of the collective push pull and put my tail servos up front. ive had a few tail servos go to crap cuz of crashes or fuel soakage back there. havnt heard of them breaking

Generating an old thread here, i know, but was doing some research on a rear servo tray failure. I had a pv0511 metal rear tray on a titan SE fail on me. Here is the thread on that:

Bought the pv0321-1 rear CF mount. Stupid question, but it comes with an off number of bolts and they are not the 2.5mm called for in the manual? Obviously the longer ones are to mount to the boom, but what the heck are the other 2 sets of 3 for?Team HeliProz - Retired

There is one extra bolt of the M3x10 and M3x16. On a E700 the M3x22 bolts with washers and servo frame goes on the bottom boom bracket holes and the M3x16 goes on the top holes on the boom bracket. the M3x10 bolts holds the bevel shell set in the boom bracket.
