Lets put it like this, Im using a 3.5amp for my .90 sized ships... probably about 10 times the load compared to a 450

I'm using the 2 amp in my 450 with no issues. Same swash servos and gyro, but 9650 and R146ip rx.

2A should be more than enough. I've been using the ParkBEC 6V 1.25A.

I got an email from Eagletree last night... they recently released a bunch of new sensors for their micro-recorder... one of which is a current monitor for your servos

I think a 2A rated BEC will probably do fine on a 450. I had all kinds of problems with a 2A one on my QoJ EP8-EX running 3x HS-85MG, 401, and 9650. It could've been defective... dunno for sure.

I fly the EX EP8 also and I think that 2.0 amps is just a little short . Use at least a 3.0 amp on the EX!!EP8 EX twinring frame
