running in lipo's

So how many flights are you suppose to "run" a lipo in for?

Does it make any real differencs to the pack life or just a urban legend

Maybe a good one for MYTH BUSTERS to try on there show

I run mine in 3 charges @ 3min at a time just hovering/climbouts & on the fourth Charge Fly,Fly & Fly!!!

Had no isues with lipos that are over 1 year old & have been Worked real hard too!!

and one more thing "DON'T BE AFRAID!"

I also haven't seen any manufacturer instructions to break in lipo's.

Here is what the instruction sheet that comes with all my Thunderpower packs says about breaking in packs:

First Few Flights
We recommend 3-5C max average discharge for breaking in new packs. Also be extremely careful not to over discharge new packs (Packs should NEVER be over discharged at any time, but over discharging on the first flight will ruin the battery permanently before you are able to enjoy it. See "Caring for Battery" below).

it would be almost impossible to get a 600 to draw a averages of 5c...

mine draws more than that hovering

Not in the UK!!!
I didn't get any such information included with my 5 TP lipos.
I have thrashed my tp5000 from the start with no problems if they don't last as long as they should at least i have had the fun out em.
