The first mention… on this board… of a “T-REX 500”, was last September. At the time a lot of people (including me) expressed an interest in a T-REX of that size. Virtually, nothing has been said since that time.

Does ANYBODY have concrete information about a T-REX 500 ?

I did a Google search and stumbled on this new forum.

They cover all versions of the T-Rex. Quite a few posts on the 500 already. No proof yet though.

From what I have heard they put the 500 idea on the shelf to make the 600N instead. Maybe next year.

According to highly placed sources, the 500 is not that far away...Projeced to use 475 mm blades, and lighter than the Hurricane 550..No info on the power system, though...

I sure hope they hurry. That Hurricane 550 is looking mighty tasty. The price is great. I haven't found anything negative about it yet. I'm still going to wait and see what Align comes up with. My old eyes are failing fast and it's getting harder and harder to see this little 450.

I NEED something just a little bigger but the 600 is way too expensive to outfit.

makes sense to me... like the raptor 30 I have sitting while I am out flying my Raptor 50's

and the 50's unlike the big 60's and 90's don't need to have the digital servos, hence the lower costs, like the 600 VS 450. Sign me up!
