I'm going to bed
After a long day browsing RR and other forums for some details on the 600N and other stuff, its time to go to bed.

I still don't know if the hatori #521 with a 3mm spacer will fit nor do I know how to mount the Revlock sensor properly on that bird. I won't be flying tomorrow as I blew up my engine in the evo last week and the new one hasn't gotten in yet. I thought right away the engine could fail to come before the weekend so I decided to order replacement parts for the old engine from somewhere else but that has failed too.

But guess what? I'm still happy, life isn't that bad and I'm glad I have all you guys writing here.

Especial thanks go to:

Align
Hirobo
MA
TT
Synergy

and all other Manufactures I have failed to mention here (except one, you know who you are).

If it weren't for you, life would be much more boring.

Now I really should go to bed.

Cheers
Tony

PS - Yes, you can call me insane

Have one too many tonight Tony?

Don't worry, you'll be back in the air soon. Don't fly on a hangover... and don't ask how I know!

The Revlock sensor fits using the smallest angled bracket and drilling 2 mounting holes. It's a very tight fit between the tail servo and start shaft bearing block but it does fit.
Dunno about the Hatori 521, but the 522 does fit without having to cut anything.

Ups... I opened this thread? I must have been really wasted last night

Anyway,

EvoFlight50: You're welcome. Did you get that 10.000$ Tx afterall?

Leif: Not planning to fly today, its raining and like I said. No engine. Thx for the tip though

Yug: Thx for the input. I know the 522 fits perfectly. As it happens I got a 521 (because of the evo). On another thread, I was informed that the distance between engine and frames was around 7mm and that the tank is extending 8-9mm from the frames. If that is correct, the 521 will only have 1-2mm clearance from the tank which is risky, especially if one wants to use crankcase pressure. I thought about making a 3mm spacer that would push the muffler further outside giving a 5mm clearance between muffler and tank but I don't know about the canopy clearance. The other problem I see is that if I go for a 5mm spacer or so, it won't be possible to mount the muffler as the screws would hit the frames? Any ideas?

Tony
