Main Shaft Bearing
What would be the impact to the heli if I can feel the main shaft bearing not so smooth while turning it with a finger tip (a few dented balls)?

RF interference. Depending on your RX, this will result in either a PCM lockout or if you're running PPM/FM it will produce random servo movements that can easily cause a crash.

Best to replace any questionable bearings. The mainshaft bearings are easy to damage in a crash.

Wow giving rise to RF interference, this is something that I never think of seriously.

not only can it generate RF noise, it can allow the main shaft to wiggle a bit...

They can make high frequency vibration which are most danger to heli.see my gallery

I have never seen a notchy main shaft bearing cause RF interference, and I've pulled out some pretty bad bearings before, they were notchy even though never crashed. If you believe that a some notchiness causes RF interference, I'd say you'd have to replace your bearings every 5 flights or less, because brand new bearings get a little rough after only a few flights of 3D.

However, I have had clutch bearings cause issues though, I'd assume because they are spinning at 15,000 rpm or more, whereas the main shaft bearings are only spinning at 1900 rpm.
Still buyin' and flyin' then crashing and cryin'
