A123 packs directly from Minicopter
Hi

Just for your information.

Gerd is selling 10s2p, 12s2p and 14s2p packs of A123 cells. Look in his online shop if interested (item # 1930, 1932 and 1934).

I use 13s2p and 15s2p A123 packs in my Joker II's, those packs are bought from Brian (Tanic) though.

:-) Thomas

I am running the big blue pletty (HP 370/40/A2 Heli) and the big schulze (40-160).

Weight of the pack is around 15*2*75g/call = 225g = 79 oz.

Please don´t forget that A123 have little less voltages and 10s A123 isn´t the 100% the same as 10s LiPo .. So a 12s 123 fits a 10s LiPo and a 15s 123 fits a 12s Lipo nearly ...I own: minicopter JOKER - T-Rex 600e - T-Rex 450XL CDE

Yes a 10s a123 is close to a 8s lipo setup. So I gear my 710mm blade mini joker to run accordingly. My AUW is in the 15lb range with all the AP gear and I get 10min flight times for $200 worth of battery's (10s2p 4600) and a $130 Z50a-600 motor that runs cool as can be. For AP I'm not putting that much demand on everything. I'm a big fan of the a123 battery's. They are not a replacement for all lipo setups but can be used for many.
