Ya, i remember in the 80`s they said that we were going into the ice age what happend i dont see any ice arround here???

the eviro wakos got there way with cfc now the price has gone up
500% for refrigerant. so they are off to a new mission, OIL
they want all us little people to stop using it, but the fithy rich people like al gore will never stop consuming 20 times the oil as a average person, but hay he has the money to fly arround on a private jet, insted of driving a prius across country. as far as i`m concernd he can shut the f up, untill he leads by example!!!!

It shocks me to the point of sadness when I read many of the posts in this section. It makes me think that maybe we are doomed indeed. Money, power, and greed are going to kill us all, and with administrations like the current one leading us down the sewer it wont be long.

i'm leaning towards the "any government is bad government" myself, however since that's not going to happen, I have to side with whatever side helps the majority of society, and the betterment of mankind.

I didnt know that watching the documentary was mandatory. If your life is so good, you can probably afford a remote control for the TV, use it!

As for your earlier statement about liberals being fear mongers.... Seems to me the "allegedly conservative" republican party has been selling a message of fear for a good while now. For instance, browse the major news channels and see which one still posts the terror alert level 24/7.Repo man's got all day and all night! Lets go get a drink!

Like I stated in my first post on the subject. I don't know if climate change is man made or not. But by deductive reasoning I have concluded that weaning ourselves from fossil fuel would be one of the best things to ever happen to the US, but I could be wrong. A lot less pollution, no more terrorist attacks, jobs and income for OUR citizens instead of the UAE.
Now how are you going to argue that?

Well you see Hudson, There is a serious problem with the dictionary definitions of liberal and conservative, versus how they are used in the media and by politicians. By the dictionary definetion, I am a liberal. Yet, the people who call themselves liberals are for the most part, socialists. I will never agree with them, as they are either fascist politicians that want to control everyones behavior through legisltaion and taxation, or they are the brainwashed mass of sheeple, thinking that they are doing good, when in fact, they are voting for fascist politicians.

Most of what you said, I agree with. We should absolutely wean ourselves from middle eastern oil, but I could care less if we are ever completely weaned from fossil fuels. Weaning ourselves from fossil fuels will not stop terrorists. That is a religious war, not about oil at all.

Weaning ourselves from fossil fuels will not stop terrorists. That is a religious war, not about oil at all.
If its not a war for oil then why in the hell are we involved in it? They hate us because we muck about in their affairs. If we didnt need their oil, then we wouldnt feel the need to muck about in their affairs and they wouldnt have a reason to attack us.

I know, you think they hate us because we are free or whatever, but that doesnt really explain why they've singled us out of just about every other free democracy on the planet does it? I've read passages from the Quran and nowhere does it say to go and attack the infidels because they are free, but its pretty clear about what to do if infidels are attacking them.Repo man's got all day and all night!
