There is also the V-stabi - the most sophisticated but more expensive unit (the unit also includes a tail gyro however). It has air pressure sensors to help with the booming up effect. I'm testing it on my 13KG 5 bladed heli. I will give you more feedback in two weeks.

I use the Helitronix with great results however I don't use any gyros. My good friend Len Mount uses the V-Stabi with great results as well but I understand it's very expensive. I guess it boils down to what your trying to fly .. 3D or Scale .. You can't go wrong with either but I prefer the Helitronix .. simple and straight forward.Dr.TimFrom Simple minds come simple ideas! For what its worth I used the helitronix mixer on an OF four blade head with fantastic results. I never put a gyro on it because it just didn't need one. If flew like a fly barred heli. I flew FFF with no problem. And best of all it was easy to set up. |
