trex 450 question
Bought a used trex 450 cde heli. The manual i downloaded says the left stick turns nose left or right and forward backward. Right stick pitch left/right and ascend/descend. This is opposite of the controls on my raptor 30. Is this a typo or is this the way they are set up and can i switch it to make left stick work nose left/right and ascend/descend and right stick pitch left/right and pitch forward/backwards. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

backwards
I think the manual is talking about the mode 1 version, I pretty sure we use the mode 2 with having the throttle and rudder on the left stick and the forward, backward, left and right are on the right stick. If your control is that way it should work like mode 2 when you put a receiver in it. It is how the radio is set up to the modes. Hope that helps.

bj, sounds like your looking at a manual that is directing a mode 1 Tx setup possibly. You will want to set it just like your raptor, you do not one set one way and the other one different. If you plug your servo's into the labaled channels on your Rx per the radio manual, you should be just fine. Throttle/pitch and rudder on the left stick; cyclics (aileron & elevator) on the right.-----------------------
