my first parts order from Quickworldwide well they almost got my order right, they sent me a 60 main shaft, not a 30...and come to find out the used pro 30 i bought has a slight bend at the skinny part of the shaft, so I need one, and low and behold, the mainshaft new in the package, is a 60...anyway... Irwin I need help!!! I looked up my order to make sure I didnt order a 60 size, and was relieved to see I didnt...so now what do I do? this poor copter, needed alot of stuff.and I have sunk alot of money in parts now...good thing I got it for $122.00 with a 50 motor mounted in it |

Thank you Jon and Irwin......another update, ran into more problems! Im not happy |

I have no complaints about the service I received on my QWW 50 Pro Carbon rebuild. I ordered, parts were shipped same or even next day depending on the time I ordered them, parts were delivered in no more than two days to FL from PA. I even had a mix up with one order that was my fault and it was resolved over a PM to Irwin, I can't wait to get her in the air. She is currently sitting on the shelf awaiting electronics, engine and blades. I'm working PT at the LHS to help support my hobbies and right now the money has been going to keep the EVO 50 flying and in good running order. I don't want to be without a heli for the summer.ChadTeam HeliProz 12-14 US Navy Chiefs...Unity, Service, & Navigation to the Fleet since 1893 |

Now I have another problem, maybe one of you out there can answer my question, I already sent Irwin a PM. The deal is I have a brandnew 10 tooth pinion i ordered, when I unscrewed the old 9 tooth pinion, and went to install the new one, the threads were small enough to push right in the clutch bell....Im wondering if maybe I have a 50 sized clutch bell, because I bought the heli used, and it has a TT 50 in it,I already installed the new 88 tooth main gear, the old one was missing 2 teeth, the gear mesh to the tail pully, is way too loose, do I have to slot out the bearing block mounting holes on the frames, to get that right?... the mesh with the old 9 tooth pinion is a real loose fit against the main also, the new 10 tooth mesh is much better fit when inserted in the start shaft bearing, this heli started life off as a 30 pro, but seems to maybe have a few different parts, the current clutch bell in it right now has 7 round holes in the top, and it seems like when I was looking through the parts of the 30 pro, it showed no holes in the clutch bell. Sure would like to get this in the air. |

Just solved the main gear too tail pully mesh problems, found out the frames do have small amount of adjustment room, got the mesh just right there. and when the 10 tooth pinion is slid up in the start shaft bearing it meshes perfect with the main gear too, just have the thread size problem now!!! |

I just went to the site and looked at the parts list, and the picture of the clutch, does look exactly like mine. they offer 9 and 10 tooth pinions item # QD361 for 9 tooth and QD361A for the 10 tooth, I ordered # QD361A just looked it up on my order....should be the right one eh?? Im tempted just to JB weld it in, but Im not sure if I would get it true, or if it would hold up or not? |

Both pinions look the same, and the 10 tooth fits the bearing just right, just a different thread size 9.87mm on the 10 tooth and 10.15mm on the 9 tooth. They look like the same thread design. My measurement may be off just a tad bit, using a digital caliper |

Im really starting to get steamed up about this at $22.99 for a pinion. and a week waiting for parts on each order ..Ive sunk $270.00 for parts on this thing. this damn pinion should be right. I will not keep playing order tag, on this heli. Im on the verge of just parting it out, maybe get a 1/3 of my money back? This heli should have been in the air a week ago, now Im delayed another week or so |

Now it is all clear.... Your ordered a 50 class pinion gear...The fifty CB is different then the 30 CB...If you are trying too put a 50 pinion gear in a thirty clutch bell they are different....THEY DON'T FIT....we will be happy to send you out the 10 tooth fore the 30 clutch bell....please return the pinion & the main shaft....Irwin |

No I did not order a 50 class pinion gear.... I ordered QD361A which is listed in your 30 parts. http://www.ewtech.com/Merchant2/mer...ode=Drive+PartsThis is the one I ordered, says for Quick 30......Now it may be possible that I have a 50 clutch bell, are the 9 tooth and 10 tooth the same thread size? So if I want a 10 tooth pinion for a 30 size...what part # should I order?...and yes I will send the 60 size mainshaft back, but need to find out whether or not to order a 30 clutch bell to fit this pinion? could you tell me what the inside diameter measurement is on a 30 clutch bell, I think that would solve my problem on what I need to send back or if I need to order a 30 clutch bell, sorry for steaming off, my luck is just not very good so far with this heli. |

I just looked at the 50 class pinion on your site...this 10 tooth is not a 50 pinion, it has no flange, and is much shorter, and did any of the 50,s come with 9 tooth pinions? because thats what come out of my clutch bell?....I did see that the 30 and the 60 use the same pinion, same # Man this thing has me puzzled! here are some pics of the pinions side by side, and the clutch bell |

if youre really going to deal with helis on a day to day basis you need to get yourself some high quality (nothing china or hong dong) measurement tools. especially a good caliper. if you use a caliper and check those two parts you'll be able to find the difference. with machinery thousandths can make a huge difference. good tools can also make or break a heli. when everything is set up just right even cheap helicopters can fly like the biggest and baddest 90.only way ill ever make the jack is if i work at a cheese factory |

I did use digital calipers...and come up with a .28 difference in thread size outer diameter....look at the pics...you can actually see the size difference |
