Check out my gallery. I am running the DX7 in my Fury Tempest, Fury Extreme, and my even larger Robbe Cuatro.

Works like a charm.

I'm currently using a DX7 w/ AR7000's on...
Trex600, Fury Extreme, Aurora. After several hundred flights since last December (including 6 today ) it's been working great.

These systems now outnumber 72mhz systems among the regulars at our field. Others have been using AR7000's problem free in Vibes, Dyna-X's, Raptors etc.

I have bitten the bullet
and gotten meself a dx7
especially after reading at IRCHA2007 there was almost 600 pilots
and NO impound ,,NOW that is impressive

being the owner of a JR2610 , JR387 , JR9X , Futaba 9C and 14MZ

i was curious to see what all the fuss was about g

I have also the DX7 and i have got only a problem with 6100 v1.2 rx. But now i use onlt AR7000 and for now no problem. I fly only with electric now i have a trex450, and trex600 8s.

So i want to know how can you kill the motor in your glow heli.

I know that DX7 has got a feature on the throttle trim but i don't understand how it work.

Thanks

It's called 'throttle recovery'.

Make sure the throttle servo travel will stop the motor when the throttle trim is at it lowest point.

If your motor idles at half throttle trim (for instance), when you have landed and want to stop the motor, you just move the throttle trim to it's lowest point, and the motor will stop. Then simply move the throttle trim up one click, and the throttle trim will return to it's previous position. Your normal throttle trim position (half trim in this example) is stored in the TX memory.

It doesn't matter where your normal idle position is. It might be 3/4 trim. This is stored in the TX memory, so when you move the throttle trim to it's lowest point, to stop the motor, one click back up and the throttle trim will return to it's last stored position, 3/4 trim in this example.

Hope this explains.

Regards,

Sean
