a trex 450sa arf is about $175,look around for package deal or used.any align or thunder tiger or kyosho would be a good investment.

The t-rex kit is just like most of the helis you see here....just the heli mechanics.

You will have to buy the radio, servos, gyro, batteries, motor, charger, etc.

There are a few helis you can get for $250, but none of them will fly like a bigger (and more expensive) heli.

A blade CX 2 will allow you to get in the air and learn orientation.

The blade CP Pro will do mild 3D.

Neither of them will fly if you can't.

Flying is a skill that must be learned. A sim is the best way to learn.

If you go straight to the heli, make sure you have money for spare parts and try and get some local help.

"what you pay is what you get" probably the most famous quote to someone buying a heli.... to have a heli flying for 250 would not be a good heli, ya you may get one that will "DO" for that but if you are seriously into the hobby get yourself a true heli. the E-raptors i have heard are great, the trex is also a great e heli. the 450- 600 is just size, like a .30 - .50 nitro.
