NEED HELP

i just finish a trex 450se build i put the motor in and got the gears mash but when i spool up nothing happens but when i take the motor out it spinds perfect i thought it was the motor 430L so i went and got the new 430XL and i still have the same problem my ESC is the align BL35g. i did do the ESC setup. and my battery is a TP 2100 11.1v 15C. when the motor is aginst the gear nothing happins.when the motor is not aginst the gear it runs smooth.

Like airboss said. Switch any two motor wires. Sounds like the motor is running backwards and the one way is freewheeling. I've made this mistake repeatedly.

i did switch the wires around and i still have the same problem.

Is the motor turning when its mounted? Is it spinning the main gear?

check wire connection one pole could be loose
or your motor srews are hitting rotor in can check lenght or missing washers, or loose srew that fell in motor can. good luck

So you are saying when the motor is out of the heli it works? And the main gear can also turn freely. But put the together and nothing?
Do you hear any binding?
