THE 450 V2 IT'S A VERY TOUGH HELI !!!!
I have the new 450 V2 for a month now, over 125 flights. I had very hard crash, 3 so far. I hit the earth very badly and I am very surprise of the amount of damage I've got. Always the same parts, main blades, tail rotor blade, main shaft landing gear and 2 anti rotation bracket, flybar and none of the feathering shaft! None, the 4mn is very tough, I haven't replaced one. I have to say I have put a carbon tail boom.

With my old 450SE I have 350 flights and many crashes and I have spend much more money for the same kind of crash.

I'd like to know your experience with crashes and the V2.

i would replace that F/shaft, they dont cost much and you wont have a part failure, from that micro crack or the .001 bend. these things you cant see till it fails.

a crash can fracture the threads inside of the feathering shaft (from a blade grip pulling on the screw), letting a blade grip fly off next time or the screw breaking in flight. Hence the spindle pack comes with a set of screws too. Also, you could be bending the head block and not even know it.

The carbon boom is very strong. I had one last for 16 crashes in a row once (no joke!)

I smashed my V2 hard today. I thought it was going to cost a fortune to repair by the thud it made. Much to my surprise I took out the landing gear.$9. I did replace the feathering shaft and hardened main shaft just becuase I had a bunch of extra's. They did not appear to be damaged but better safe then sorry. Took about 2 hours to go get the landing gear and replace the damaged pieces and loctite the works. Flys just as good as new again. I love this thing.

P.S. The canopy is a bit hashed but I will crash again so I will wait to replace that lol.
