Recommended RPM for FREYA
Hello,
I have the following configuration:
SST-EAGLE Freya
GY-401
OS- 91SXH C-SPEC PS
680 mm Hirobo main blades.

I am going to install a Multigov from Aerospire and I would like to know the recommended RPM that I have to set for the following curves:
Normal (Hoovering)
Idle1 (Translation and loopings)
Idle2 (Rolls)
(Rolls is the maximum I´m doing now)

Thanks in advance,

Alberto

Same setup as you with a MPII.

I run 1450, 1700, and 1900.

Normal is just to setup the gyro and start the heli.

I fly in 1 and 2.

HS on normal is low to keep me from going inverted in normal mode.

as written, it's 1450 for Normal mode.

You'll be in ID1 or 2 by time the skids break ground.

1470, 1850 works for me using standard kit blades.

Hey Karlo, is that an 'official TEAM HIROBO' in Canada?

It barely flies....and that is the point.

It is just over wobble RPM.

I can set the gyro and spool up the blades....all I need.

Actually you should set up your gyro and tail rotor linkage at the headspeeds you run at the most.
At the lower headspeeds the tailrotor is disproportionally inefficient.

I've flown my Freya at 1300rpm
(Not with standard dampers however)
It was quite happy and flew around nicely
