where to buy extra satellite receiver?
I just got a module and a ar9000, and was wondering if I can get satellite receivers yet? I'd like to also get a logger, but I can wait for that.Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

Awesome. Just to give you a head up, the satellite wires, exiting the receiver were very weak, and I wouldn't trust them. It appears that when the receiver was put into the packaging, the wire were at an extreme angle. no biggie for me, I just reinforced with some silicon, but could be an issue ( similar to original antenna issues...) for some.Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

just as an addition...
I was told the satellite receivers from the orig 7000's will not work in the new 9000's... so don't go swapping them around.. Some difference in the hardware.In life there is no spacebar!

Yep, the satellites from the 7000 will not work with the 9000!

I am running the 9000 in all my three big helis now and after many many flights, no glitches, no problems. I have a Spektrum glitch counter and with AR9000, and two satellites, I have been seeing "zero" dropped frames in quite a few flights now.

The system is rock solid!

This morning I hovered my T-Rex 450 SE V2 with the 6100 receiver. Can't wait to lanch it in full flight this evening!

Did you ever run the 9000 without satellite receivers? How many dropped frames? I'm curious to see how the Futuba FAAST system, with only two antennas, will compare....

The 9000 seems to need at least one satellite rx connected to initialize.

rdalcanto, last weekend, I ran the AR9000 with both one and two satellite receivers - this was not by design! Without realizing I disconnected one satellite receiver when I was trying to reset my failsafe. I found this out after the flight!!

In both cases, I got zero dropped frames.
