Can't believe the difference with a g90 gyro

I have a somewhat upgraded blade cp, brushless main, with dd tail, seperate receiver with a JR Radio. I tried the metal head from Microheli, big waste of money. I just put on a g90 and it made a huge difference. The tail doesn't jerk when doing pirouettes anymore, no tail problems when climbing out, I can't believe for sport flying it is as good as my Trex.

I am sure if I were into 3d there would be a huge difference, but for just putting around doing stall turns, pirouettes, nose in hovers, circles etc, it handles very smoothly now. I now feel very comfortable with fast forward flight and tight banked turns, it used to sometimes turn to far or to fast or whatever, now it seems very controlled. I have been doing things recently that I am sure I would have crashed with but they go smoothly now.

Sorry about the long rant, but I had considered the g90 for a long time but wasn't sure it was worth it, and I just wanted to let others out there know, it can make a fun little heli a lot easier to control and a lot smoother to fly.

I rate a HH gyro above the DD tail upgrade for pure flight improvement (although, for the price, when the stock tail burns out, install the DD tail upgrade).

Yea, the Trex is smooth, I am just amazed how much of an improvement the blade has with hh and dd tail.

Been having warm days, comfortable evenings, virtually no wind just before sundown. My blade cp is flying better then it ever has, I am flying better then I ever have.

It just doesn't get much better then this!!!

On a CP (not a CP Pro), can a HH Gyro be added without replacing the 4-in-1 unit with separates?

In theory yes.You can hack it in. But I have not heard from anyone who has actually done this. From what I understand, the Blade CP's 4-in-1 cannot turn off its Gain and Proportion by setting them minimum. So some tail signal might still get out and mess up the HH gyro. The Pro's 3-in-1 can be turned off by setting the pots to minimum.Turn on a dime. Flip like a quarter. Feel like a million bucks.

How did you hook a hh gyro to a 4:1 and get the hh to work without hacking into the 4:1, You can not turn the 4:1 off, that was one of the "improvements" of the 3:1.

If you did just attach to the 4:1 without a hack you are not getting the full benefit of the hh gyro.
