Avant Aurora canopy on a Century Freestyle

just wanted to say that it will fit!

i got my hands on an Avant body to paint for someone, thought i would stick it on my Century freestyle just to see. with shorter canopy mounts, it will fit like a glove

i also wanted to tease you guys by saying i got my hands on an avant canopy

i'll take one tonight when i get home from flying, i'll have to take my predator canopy mounts off because they are too wide. the freestyle mounts MIGHT work being that its so narrow. i'll get back to you on that.Shawn

the canopy will fit and mount with minor modifications. the upper mount locations can be used, but the lower ones will need to be moved. can just fill them in with bondo and drill new holes where you need them. a little bit of material needs to be removed for link clearance.

the belly sits a little low on the heli, but overall i like the look

yeah, it fits actually quite nice, the freestyle is much more snug, i hate putting that freestyle canopy on, because i know at some point i'll have to try and get it off

Furious, take the grommits off the Freestyle canopy at the front and wedge some fuel tubing over the standoffs, it makes taking on and off the canopy much easier.
