Clicking..

Well, I fianly got my first flight into my brand new Trex450se NEW V2, after the small but fast hover I landed and stoped flying. When I turned off the reciver any my radio I was spining my blades manualy with my hand and i hear alot! of clicking and its not runing as smooth as it was before I took off

what should I do? is this normal or should I take apart the tail boom and see if any sand/dust got into the tail boom because I did hear a sort of rock.. I dont no can any one help me out?

yea look in the tail boom, also check your belt tension if it has gotten harder to turn and it clicks it is probably that the belt is to tight.

Ahh yes It is way to tight see i wasnt to sure how tight it should be because it is my Very first helicopter haha I'll check it out thanks!

run it loose
clicking might also be the main gear or main tail drive gear hitting the tail drive pulley gear. Look for gear wobble. (up and down)

Probably not it but you might also look at the main gear and make sure the pinion set screw is not contacting it. It is possible if the pinion is just a tad bit to high on the motor shaft it can strike the gear slightly and make a clicking noise.Only Fine Helis, Hobbywing
