Suddenly happened with 9650

Hi all

J' ve been flying the Trex 450V1 ( 3550Kv, align 35A ESC, 2100Mah polyquest, Ubec 5V, 401 Futaba )and haven't really had a problem with it.

A few days ago, after upgrade my rudder with Futaba 9650 servo and 30 flights a later without problem when J' m banking right in a turn the bird suddenly spin out of control ( to the right ) fully speed . Landing and swap by DS 368 JR servo it' s OK.

Do you believe my 9650 has gone bad?
The Futaba is said to be better

J don' t know which kind of servo put in for rudder tail after had tried DS 368 not accurate and too slow, 3154 past after 10 flights under 5V

, HDS 877 a little bit more than 3154 Lol

Well i have try HDS577 on gy-401 but i can't rise too much the gyro gain because tail starts to wag. So i decided to go with futaba s9650 and no w i can go up to 90 gain and the tail is rock solid and the stop is very hard. Now i'm happy. I don't know what is your problem, are you sure that is the servo and not the gyro?

If you wuold like to try other servos you can try the new jr DS3400G or the Airtronics 94758Z(not sure if it is the right model n.).
In some posts other pilots say that they are great.

Thanks for this info.
For the 9650 unexpected behaviour, j' m not sure but simply swapped by an another servo and the bird work fine

what think about

In anyway, j' m going to follow your advice and try DS 3400G , you're right many pilots seems like this servo with gyro combo put in this class heli.
