Instead of financing a guy who has called us an Evil Imperialistic nation, why not support our own workers.

Have I missed something. The story in the link given by the OP talks about Venezuuela's government funding a Venezuelan director to make two films with Danny Glover.

I can understand why you may be questioning whether the fraternisation is right or wrong but I can't see any mention of US money being spent.

In fact, assuming Danny Glover is a good boy and pays his taxes then surely this will be an income for the US not an outgoing.

Maybe I was wrong about Chavez after doing some pretty intensive research about him last night. It just seems strange to me, that the extremists are aligning themselves with this man in an act of defiance against our own goverment. To me, that just seems wrong.

It takes a big man to admit when he may be wrong. I am not a big man!
